Tungsten Carbide Chute Liner
Chute is the main conveying equipment for the transfer system, which needs to bear big abrasion and impact.
Now, most chutes are used three materials: High alumina ceramic, ZTA, and tungsten weld overlaid. According to my customer, the use life is about 10 weeks, and the thickness is 63mm.
The carbide liner my company produced is a 20 mm carbide with a 6mm steel plate, combined by brazing, please see the picture below, the using life is about tens of times longer than ceramic.
And if you want to be more economical, no need for the whole chutes to use my company liner, just be used on the high wear resistance and high impact area. Please see the drawing and picture below, in this way, can be more cost-effective.
