Hard alloy is a kind of alloy material made of hard compound of refractory metal and bonding metal by powder metallurgy process. An alloy consisting of one or more carbides with a bonded metal drill is often called a hard alloy. Precision parts processing plant is inseparable from carbide.
Cutting is one of the common ways of cutting cemented carbide bar, plate and wire. For grooving or cutting below 1mm, ultra-thin diamond cutting slices are commonly used for processing.
Diamond resin-based cutting sheet, in which the outer ring belt is the resin binder abrasive working layer, the central part of the high strength and high rigidity of metal material, is mostly used for medium and large deep cutting grooves and cutting.
In the process of turning carbide parts, the hardness of the tool itself must be higher than the hardness of the workpiece being processed, so at present, the tool material of turning carbide parts is mainly made of high hardness and high heat resistant non-metallic adhesives CBN and PCD (diamond).
1, the hardness of the hard alloy parts less than HRA90, choose BNK30 material CBN tool for large margin turning, the tool does not break, no burn. For hard alloy parts with hardness greater than HRA90, CDW025 material PCD tool or resin bonded diamond wheel is generally selected for grinding.
2, in the hard alloy precision parts processing R3 above the slot, for the processing margin is large, generally use BNK30 material CBN tool rough machining, and then grinding wheel. For small machining allowance, can be directly used for grinding wheel, or PCD tool for copying machining.
3, carbide roll crescent rib processing, using CDW025 material diamond carving milling cutter (also known as flying knife, rotary milling cutter).
