High manganese steel

Si0.30~1.0 S0.05 P0.10 This kind of high manganese steel is the most used, and is often used to make the shovel teeth of excavators, the rolling face wall and crushing wall of cone crushers, the fork plate of jaw crusher, and the lining plate of ball mill, railway rut fork, plate hammer, hammer head, etc.

High-manganese steel has excellent anti-wear properties under the condition of strong impact abrasive wear, so it is often used in mining, building materials, thermal power and other mechanical equipment to make wear-resistant parts. Under low impact conditions, high manganese steel cannot exert its material properties due to the insignificant effect of work hardening.

The performance characteristics of high manganese steel are high hardness and brittleness.

Manganese steel is mainly used to withstand harsh working conditions such as impact, extrusion, and material wear. Wear is divided into three types: friction wear in which the surfaces of metal components contact and move; abrasive wear in which other metal or non-metallic materials hit the metal surface; and erosion wear caused by the contact between flowing gas or liquid and metal.

High-manganese steel is a kind of anti-wear steel specially designed for heavy industry applications including quarrying, mining, excavation, coal industry, foundry and steel industry.


High chromium cast iron

High-chromium cast iron is the abbreviation of high-chromium white anti-wear cast iron, which is a kind of anti-wear material with excellent performance and special attention. It has much higher wear resistance than alloy steel, and much higher toughness and strength than ordinary white cast iron. At the same time, it also has good high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, as well as convenient production and moderate cost.

It is believed that the martensitic matrix of high chromium cast iron has better stress wear resistance than austenitic matrix, but the dynamic fracture toughness is lower.

The high hardness martensite matrix strongly supports the carbide particles, preventing the carbides from falling off the wear surface during the working process, and ensuring the high wear resistance of the material. Therefore, high-chromium cast iron has been effectively used in mechanical and metallurgical equipment such as crushing, grinding, and material conveying as a high-wear-resistant material. Especially in abrasive wear and impact wear parts. Such as: crusher drum, silo lining plate, blast furnace bell, hopper, coal trough lining plate, coal mill roller sleeve, roller, slurry pump overflow parts, etc.
