The Working Performance of Carbide Accelerator Block and Impeller in VSI Crusher

Below, it's a brief introduction of working performance of VSI sand crushing machine.

The sand making machine is an important equipment of the artificial sand production line, mainly suitable for crushing and shaping soft or medium hard and extremely hard materials. VSI sand making machine is widely used for medium and fine crushing (sand production) of various hard and brittle materials, such as various rocks, abrasives, refractory materials, cement clinker, quartz stone, iron ore, concrete aggregates and so on. VSI sand making machine is designed to use high-speed rotation of materials to crush each other and material between friction and crushing (stone to stone), the maximum feeding size should be according to the technical parameters of the machine, it is strictly forbidden to feed larger than allowed materials into the machine. The VSI sand making machine, using selective fragmentation and crushing according to the advanced crushing principle, directly applies sufficient kinetic energy to the material, and the kinetic energy is converted to overcome the necessary broken components by impact energy.


After multiple crushing of a piece of material in the vortex chamber, the finished product is removed from the discharge opening under the sand machine. This piece of material is hit, crushed and crushed two or more times in a cavity broken by the vortex. Such a piece of material is subjected to two or more probabilities of impact, friction and grinding in the vortex chamber. After impact, the material is discharged directly from the bottom of the body, which does not allow multiple crushing cycles in the crushing cavity.


The raw material freely falls into the impeller from the center hole of the top cover, rapidly accelerates to <=70m/s in the impeller cavity, and then is ejected to hit the impact block around the crushing cavity, where the crushing point occurs and runs continuously. The difference is that the material is atomized from the rotor, and the rotor is equipped with an impact block in the crushing cavity, which converts the energy obtained by accelerating the material into the energy required to collide and break the crushing block. Part of the material directly enters the impeller through the central feeding pipe, and is gradually accelerated to a higher speed and discharged, so that part of the material bypasses the outside of the impeller and enters the crushing cavity outside the central feeding pipe vortex. The acceleration can be hundreds of times greater than that of free fall, so the material protrudes from the three flow channels of the homogeneous impeller at a speed of 60-70m/s; another part of the material falls freely from the four sides of the feeder and hits the vortex branch cavity in inner wall and then bounce back to the top of the vortex chamber.


Large pieces of stone are sent to an impact crusher for further crushing through a vibrating screen. VSI series crushers are widely used for crushing non-metal mines, concrete, fire-resistant materials, abrasive aggregate, frit, building aggregates, sand, metallurgy and so on.
