Carbide bits for hydraulic impact Rotary Drilling
1 Carbide Bits
1) Common Octagonal Carbide drill with or without ribs. The RIB is 3mm thick to increase the area of water passage, the inner and outer edge is 3mm, the bottom edge is 5mm, and the angle of the edge is 90 ° ~ 100 °. Suitable for drilling 5 ~ 8 mm medium-hard rock.
2) Long Flake Rib Type Carbide Drills
The inner rib and the steel body of the carbide drill with long rib are in one body, the outer rib is 4mm thick, the outer edge is 1.5 mm, the inner edge is 1mm, the bottom edge is 5mm, and the impact angle is 110 °.
Suitable for drilling medium-hard rock with low frequency and high impact power fluid.
3) Special-shaped carbide drill bits
The special-shaped cross-section bit body is used to increase the liquid flow section and reduce the flow resistance backpressure and core blockage.
6 grains of cemented carbide are inlaid and welded, the inner and outer edges are 1mm each, the bottom edge is 2.5~3mm, and the tip angle of the alloy edge is 90°~100°. It is suitable for use in grade 5~7 medium-hard rocks.

Carbide column teeth
The strength of hemispherical teeth is the highest, followed by conical spherical teeth, and wedge teeth are the lowest; but the rock drilling efficiency is the opposite.
Hemispherical teeth are used for drilling extremely hard, hard and abrasive rocks, conical spherical teeth are used for drilling medium-hard or hard, brittle rocks, and wedge teeth are suitable for drilling soft rocks.
Compared with diamond, the wear resistance of cemented carbide column teeth is not enough. Therefore, in order to improve the problem of serious wear of peripheral column teeth when drilling hard and corrosive rocks, diamond is often used to strengthen column teeth.
